You've got to hand it to Mojang, constantly finding ways to refresh Minecraft for a new generation or audience. Enter Minecraft Dungeons & Dragons, an all-new game mode with a tabletop twist, made with the cooperation and support of the warlocks over at Wizards of the Coast.
Players will begin in the time-honoured fashion of any good D&D campaign by selecting a character. There will be four classes to choose from, and each will have its own specialised skillset. Expect a roughly 10-hour-long narrative featuring branching story paths and multi-option dialogues.
To be clear, this is a game mode within Minecraft and not a standalone release like Minecraft Legends. We don't have any kind of development timeline or release window, but it will be coming to PlayStation, and we'll be sure to bring you more news as soon as we have it.
