Microsoft Partnership With PayPal Brings Venmo Support On Xbox Store

Microsoft has partnered with PayPal to now bring on the option of using Venmo for the Microsoft Store and the Xbox storefront. This is another way to give consumers a means to purchase goods with this transaction service. If you have already used this service, then you might find using this will be a bit more convenient when purchasing a new Xbox game or subscription service. Thanks to The Verge, we’re finding out that Microsoft’s partnership will add Venmo to the line of payment methods accepted on the Xbox store. We already see Venmo being available across multiple retailers, so it’s just Microsoft is now catching up, and it will be interesting to see if more payment methods are added in. Venmo is a mobile payment application where consumers can send funds to one another. It started off as a means to send money to friends and family. Likewise, it was a quick means to pay for a service without having physical cash or the means to use a card. 

As a result, Venmo quickly blew up, and slowly, we started to see businesses accept Venmo as another means to pay for goods and services. That’s exactly what’s happening now at Xbox, and being a PayPal service, it’s noted that Microsoft also includes support for the PayPal Pay Later option. That would allow consumers to pay for a purchase over a span of time rather than paying for the full cost in one go.
