Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Patch Fixes Switch Issues, Updates Online Manuals
Konami has released patch ver.1.3.0 for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, updating the online manuals for all games and their bonus content while fixing various issues. It improves save functionality for Metal Gear Solid and corrects the “Damaged File” error displayed in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty when loading save data on Steam.
Issues with the Nintendo Switch version, like the frame rate dropping during certain scenes for MGS2 and flickering in some cutscenes for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater have also been fixed. Of course, several issues are still under investigation, including one that causes some cutscenes to stop playing in the first game.
The PS4 version also has an issue where Trophies for Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake aren’t unlocking properly. Check out the patch notes and full range of known issues below, and stay tuned for subsequent updates.
