Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is set to look much better than the original game, judging from a new comparison video shared online.
The new comparison, put together by Cycu1, puts the first in-engine look at the game shared during yesterday's Xbox event with footage from the remastered version of the original, highlighting visual improvements across the board, the differences with the new model for Snake and more.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is currently in development by Konami and Virtuos for PC and consoles. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the remake of the third entry in the series will stay faithful to the original by allowing players to experience the mission that gave birth to the legend of Big Boss.
Those who never played the original game and do not want to wait for the release of the remake can purchase the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1, which includes all entries in the series up to Snake Eater. Datamined information also suggests that following entries in the series, such as Peace Walker and the PlayStation 3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot, will be released on modern gaming hardware as well in the future.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date.
