Screen Rant has the honor of presenting an exclusive sneak peekfrom Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous season 5, which is set to premiere July 21 on Netflix. Though the series debuted as recently as 2020, it was already gone through several stories and is now reaching its conclusion with the newest season. Centered on six teenagers who where left stranded on Isla Nublar thanks to the events of Jurassic World, season 5 will tie up loose ends and answer many questions amidst the high stakes of escaping wild dinosaurs.

Naturally, Kenji and the campers were horrified to learn about the dino fights and other events occurring under Manah Corp's direction. Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous season 5, however, has the kids thinking that there may be more to Mr. Kon than meets the eye. There's at least enough ambiguity to justify Kenji siding with his father, as seen in the trailer, because he believes Mr. Kon to have the dinosaur's best interests at heart. Kenji and his father share a warm embrace as soon as they reunite, and Mr. Kon explains how he took over Mantah Corp after Jurassic World went down. But when the campers confront him about the robots, fights, and attempted murders, he immediately deflects to a subordinate whom he claims was given too much freedom. Seeing how the dinosaur robots are immediately turned on and prepared for an attack, it would seem there is some truth to Mr. Kon's claims. But whether or not the six friends can truly trust him or will need to fend for themselves if they wish to save the dinosaurs and each other
