Warning: SPOILERS for Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 5
A plot point inJurassic World Dominion you might have missed was explained inJurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. In its fifth and final season on Netflix, Camp Cretaceous sees the teenage campers still stranded on Mantah Corp Island, where they learn the CEO of the evil corporation is Daniel Kon (Andrew Kishino), the father of Kenji (Ryan Potter). After surviving numerous dinosaur attacks on Isla Nublar, the kids have realized the importance of protecting dinosaurs from Mantah Corp, which has developed technology to control the cloned animals and make them fight each other.
InJurassic World Dominion, BioSyn and its director, Dr. Lewis Dodgson (Campbell Scott), purchased the dinosaur assets of InGen and Masrani Global Corporation, which went bankrupt after the fall of Jurassic World. With support from the U.S. government, BioSyn built a dinosaur sanctuary in Italy's Dolomite mountains, where they herded many of the animals that were brought to the mainland from Isla Nublar and were released into the wild by Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon). However, BioSyn also had the technology to control the dinosaurs remotely. The corporation put this tech to use in Jurassic World Dominion when the sanctuary caught on fire. BioSyn herded the dinosaurs into the inner part of their facility, which is where the Gigantosaurus had its final battle with the T-Rex. BioSyn being able to control the dinosaurs was a minor but important plot point that the film failed to fully explain.
