The wait is nearly over for fans of The Last of Us. With the remake being considered one of the most anticipated games of 2022, this modern reiteration of Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic title has got a lot of PS5 players eager to see what's been improved. With just a couple of weeks until it's out, gamers are just inches away from it, and in the meantime, the studio has been teasing some of the visuals, comparing the remake to the PS4 original.
As spotted by The Gamer, a very short clip from the upcoming The Last of Us was uploaded to the developer's YouTube channel recently. At just 12 seconds long, there isn't really a lot on display, but what's there is quite telling. In a short span of time, the video shows Joel standing at the docks in the PS4 version, and then it swipes to show the inbound PS5 remake. It certainly is nice to see the two compared, and while there's nothing wrong with the 2013 release, it's quite apparent that the visuals have been greatly improved for this iteration.

In the run-up to the release, there have been a number of The Last of Us Remake videos, some of which just show the remake in general, while others have been helping fans get a side-by-side understanding of what differences there are between the two.
