Pokemon Scarlet and Violet News Coming with Pokemon World Championships
As many Pokemon fans already know, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are the latest mainline games coming to the franchise. While they will add the traditional features that long-time players would expect, such as three new starter Pokemon to choose from, new legendaries, and new Professors to help young trainers begin their journeys, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will also be adding a bunch of new mechanics to the series as well. For example, players will be able to explore the Paldea region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as an open world, meaning they aren't limited in where they can go.
With these new features coming in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, many are eagerly anticipating the next lot of news to be dropped on the latest titles. So far, there have been three proper looks at Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with the most recent offering an in-depth look at the story, region, characters, and Pokemon that players will encounter in the new games. With so much already known about the game, one could forgive Nintendo for taking its foot off the gas for a little while. However, it seems that the Pokemon publisher has no plans to do so, as new information will be coming on the latest games soon.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 4Chan Leaks Were Real
According to The Pokemon Company President Tsunekazu Ishihara, at the closing ceremony of the Pokemon World Championships, which take place from August 18-21, fans will be getting some «news for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet» as well as an update on the future of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Ishihara didn't give much more information apart from that, leaving fans with not much insight on what this news will look like.
