MasterClass is the go-to online learning service for those who want tutorials from celebs like Martin Scorsese or Neil Gaiman, and their pearls of wisdom are about to get a little cheaper.
Starting today, the base price for MasterClass' individual plan drops from $15 to $10 per month. MasterClass only offers annual plans, however, so it'll actually set you back $120 versus $180.
In our 4.5/5-star review of MasterClass, we said its price is "reasonable, though it's certainly not an impulse-buy," so this price drop may convince those who are on the fence to take the plunge.
The Individual plan is limited to one account and one device; it also doesn't support downloads for offline viewing. MasterClass also offers a Duo plan that's available on two devices for $240 per year and a Family plan for up to six devices for $276 per year, both of which allow offline viewing. There are no free trials, though you can request a refund(Opens in a new window) within 30 days.
Alongside this price drop, MasterClass is also set to release a host of new content throughout the year. In June, investors Ray Dalio, Meredith Whitney, Joel Greenblatt, and Seth Klarman will star in a new series called Mastering the Markets, which will unpack their approaches to navigating and beating the financial markets.
MasterClass will also release a second season of its G.O.A.T(Opens in a new window) series, which includes a run through on how to perfect grilled cheese with James Beard Award-winning chef Nancy Silverton, sharpening knife skills with viral TikTok star and chef Wallace Wong, as well as learning all about ice cream with Jeni from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream.
Users will also be able to dive deep on innovation with inventor of the Miracle Mop Joy
