Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera, one of the remaining vestiges of the original Call of Duty: Warzone released in 2020, will be taken offline on September 21. All Caldera gameplay, player progression, inventories, and online services will expire on that day, Activision Blizzard said.
Activision Blizzard said in a blog post that the decision is being undertaken in order to "focus on future Call of Duty content including the current Warzone free-to-play experience."
"Players should prepare for even more Warzone content across consoles and PC, as well as a new era of Battle Royale on the go with the launch of Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Mobile, which includes a shared Battle Pass and cross-progression. The Call of Duty team and Studios look forward to sharing more details soon."
