This week, we're launching a pilot program to test a new way to raise funds for charity.
We have a long history of fundraisers to support important causes. This includes disaster relief, support for veterans, the LGBTQIA+ community, and many more. Thanks to your participation, these drives have raised millions of dollars, helping people around the world.
One lesson we've learned from our past efforts is that speed matters, and being able to respond quickly and get the donations to where they make the most difference today is key to maximizing the effect of your contributions. To this end, we're adding a way for you to make a quick and easy donation through a third-party partner, Accelerist.
HOW IT WORKS
When you buy something on Battle.net that is part of this pilot program (such as games, in-game cosmetics, and more) there will be a "DONATE NOW" banner after you've made your purchase. Clicking this banner is optional and not required to complete your purchase.
Clicking the banner will take you to a donation page on Battle.net. There, you’ll learn more about the charity we're supporting, and you’ll select or enter a custom amount if you feel like you want to contribute. Once you've made your decision and clicked "Continue," you'll be prompted to enter your payment information and complete your donation. You will receive a transaction receipt via the email address you provide.
The Call of Duty Endowment pilot charity program is now live for Call of Duty PC products sold on Battle.net in the United States. During the pilot, you have the opportunity to donate to the Call of Duty Endowment, a nonprofit organization that helps US and UK veterans find high-quality jobs after their service. 100% of your donation, minus transaction
