Establishing a colony on the planet Eos is an important objective during the early missions of Mass Effect: Andromeda. After making the planet habitable (and recruiting some squad members in the process), returning to Eos gives Ryder a new quest to investigate seismic activity around the colony site.

Making an Impression involves exploring the surface of Eos after Prodromos outpost has been populated, and battling the Remnants that still linger on the planet. There are also some tough choices to be made along the way. With this guide, you'll be able to complete the mission with ease and help establish a thriving colony in Andromeda.
Your first visit to Eos will involve a lengthy story mission called A Better Beginning. After completing that mission, the game will tell you the radiation in Eos' atmosphere needs time to clear. The process will be complete upon your first visit to Aya as part of the mission A Trail Of Hope. If you're looking to hurry things along, you can go straight to Aya after A Better Beginning if the destination has been unlocked.
Once the Prodromos outpost has been established on Eos, Ryder will receive an email from August Bradley, the colony leader. Bradley asks Ryder to come to Eos and speak with a colonist named Hainly Abrams. Traveling to Eos and speaking with Abrams at her objective marker begins the mission Making An Impression.
The dialogue with Abrams will change slightly, depending on how far along in the main story you are when you accept the quest - either way, your task is to place three Seismic Hammers at points indicated on your map. Doing so will provide Abrams with valuable data... and also lure out a powerful Remnant
