Mass Effect 3 players can pick up the mission "Citadel: Batarian Codes" after completing the priority mission "Citadel II". Talking to C-Sec Officer Jordan Noles outside the C-Sec Office will make the quest available from the Spectre Terminal in both the original, and in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

After accepting the quest from C-Sec Officer Jordan Noles on the Citadel Embassies floor, then starting it from the Spectre Terminal, players should travel to Huerta Memorial Hospital to find the location of the first console. After exiting the elevator, take an immediate right and go through the door to find a console beside the human and salarian doctors in Mass Effect 3.
The second console is located on the Normandy Dock: Bay D24 floor. It is found to the left of a yellow vending machine, directly opposite the docked Normandy ship in Mass Effect, down a small set of stairs.
Once the previous console has been activated, head to the Docks: Holding Area floor to find the third, and last, console. It is located at the very back of the area, where a Turian NPC can often be found walking back and forth.
Once the console is selected, a batarian will point a gun at Shepard's head. If players have transferred a Mass Effect save in which they played the Bring Down the Sky DLC and spared Balak during its conclusion, he will be the one threatening Shepard.
