If Insomniac Games plans to continue pulling from Marvel comics and the various Spider-Man films for the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 suit lineup, it has no shortage of suits to choose from. However, one fan made an interesting request that would be different from the outfits featured thus far, as they want to see a character from The Boys represented in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Instead of featuring a well-known member of the Seven from the hugely successful Amazon series, such as Black Noir, Reddit user skatenbikes has argued that the Web-Weaver costume should be adapted. This suit and character is exclusive to The Boys comics, meaning that only fans of the graphic novels will really be aware of it. Still, it is a neat costume, and it would be an exciting, off-the-wall addition if Insomniac could secure the rights to use it.

In The Boys, Web-Weaver is an obvious spoof of the friendly neighborhood hero. Referred to as “the Thwipster” and confirmed to have an uncle who he cares deeply about, it can be assumed that Web-Weaver has the exact same set of powers as Spidey. Web-Weaver is quite important to the lore of The Boys as well, as he is the first superhero Billy Butcher kills and his death leads to the formation of the group.
As shown in the image above, the outfit is clearly similar to Spider-Man’s usual attire, though it does have a few features that make it a bit more distinct. The suit includes more blue, for example, with Web-Weaver having an entirely blue chest and midsection as well as some blue gloves.
