The Ms. Marvel finale arrives tomorrow, and fans are looking forward to seeing where it will lead the latest hero to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When the series first premiered, though, Marvel Studios invited fans to send in their questions for the cast. Just in time for the end of the Disney Plus series, the cast members took time out of their schedules to answer some fan questions received by the studio.
In a special segment of Ask Marvel, the cast of Ms. Marvel answered some fun questions posed by fans of the series and the MCU. From Iman Vellani's first call with Kevin Feige to who is the funniest on set, the cast dove in to reveal as much information as they possibly could. The video features Vellani, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Saagar Shaikh, as they all tackle different questions about their respective characters and the series as a whole.
Ms. Marvel Has Seemingly Abandoned Its Visual Flair
The segment begins with the question that many fans have asked since the series was announced, about how it is going to be different from other MCU content. Fletcher, who plays the role of Nakia Bahadir in Ms. Marvel, reveals that it is the first coming of age story in the MCU shows, which isn’t wrong, whereas Vellani further reiterates how it is about a teenager and her love for the Avengers. It was important for the series to represent true teenage and fan culture, all while sticking with the plot of a teenage girl who has superpowers and lives in a world where “the Avengers are real.”
Shaikh was most excited to see fan reactions to Ms. Marvel episode 3, the one where his character gets married. The episode features a dance sequence, which Kapur claims to have been traumatized
