Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have made it clear to fans that skins inspired by outfits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are a priority for Marvel's Avengers. It would be unfair to say that Marvel's Avengers' developer has not been at work on other features, but there hasn't been much word on what players can expect while these MCU-inspired cosmetics are frequently announced.
Still, MCU-inspired skins are what many fans have looked forward to since Marvel's Avengers' launch, and fans may be satisfied with the amount of content they have received thus far. Yet Marvel's Avengers could continue to adapt these cosmetic outfits from beloved movies and shows with an emphasis on gameplay features, rather than pure aesthetics. If skins added functional gameplay mechanics exclusive to the outfits worn in Marvel's Avengers, its gameplay could be affected positively and significantly.
