Lords of the Fallen is seemingly targeting an October release date.
“Lords of the Fallen: October 13,” reliable leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia tweeted on Thursday with no further details.
The dataminer regularly reports on listings that are added to the Xbox and Windows stores before they’re made public, such as product release dates.
Lords of the Fallen is a reboot of the dark fantasy action-RPG of the same name that was released in 2014.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, it casts players as one of the fabled Dark Crusaders, who is on a mission to overthrow a demon God called Adyr.
Lords of the Fallen is set more than 1,000 years after the events of the original game and its world is over five times as large, publisher CI Games said when the title was announced last August.
A technical showcase trailer released in March showed a journey to Skyrest Bridge, one of the game’s early locations. It also demonstrated character customisation, armour builds and the game’s interconnected world.
“Players will have the ability to travel between two worlds: Axiom, the realm of the living and Umbral, the realm of the dead,” according to developer Hexworks, a CI Games studio founded in early 2020.
Supporting “uninterrupted online co-op” for two players, the game is officially scheduled to release this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
