It's been nearly a full decade since the launch of Valiant Hearts: The Great War, an emotional gut-punch of a game from Ubisoft. Nobody expected the publisher to make a sequel, but that's exactly what we got back in early 2023 — but it only released on mobile, and only to Netflix subscribers. After some recent evidence was dug up, though, it appears Valiant Hearts: Coming Home is console-bound.
As spotted by VGC, the Brazil ratings board website has a recent listing for the game, where it notes several console platforms, including PS4. Age ratings such as these are always a clear indicator of a game's existence, so we expect the port to consoles to be announced in the near future. It's now been just over a year since Coming Home was released for Netflix — it's possible that the timed exclusivity has now run out, and the game will soon arrive on PS4 and other systems.
The sequel received similarly warm reviews as the original, which takes place afterwards and tells the war-torn stories of several characters. It's developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the team behind the first game, as well as the recent Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

Gotta say, I shudder a little whenever I read «Nextflix exclusive» referring to a videogame.
Absolutely loved the original but could never get into games on a phone so I'm glad that this should be getting a console release.
I’ve only recently discovered
