It’s been quite a while since a new Lifeline game landed on the Play Store. In fact, it’s been about six years. So you can imagine that we’re pretty excited to let you know that Lifeline: Beside You in Time is out right now. Pretty excited indeed.
If you haven’t played one of the games before, they basically involve sharing text messages with a stranded astronaut. Your choices, and the time it takes you to respond, will alter the outcome of the events of the game.
It’s a neat idea, and Lifeline: Beside You in Time adds in extra twist. Instead of just texting with the hapless Taylor, you’re also talking to his evil, alien-infected twin. You can help or hinder the villain, whichever floats your boat.
This is the fourth chapter in Taylor’s adventures – there are other Lifeline games with different main characters – and it’s once again penned by Dave Justus, whose credits also include Fables: The Wolf Among Us.
Perhaps best of all, the game is premium, with no IAPs, and you don’t need an internet connection to play it. What internet connection could reach to the other side of a black hole, anyway?
If you’d like to give Lifeline: Beside You in Time a go, you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’ll set you back $3.99, which is a small price to pay to make friends with a spaceman and an evil spaceman.
