Even after the latest round of boss nerfs Lies of P is a challenging game. That’s by design — Lies of P is the latest Soulsborne on the block — a dark fantasy version of Pinocchio with creepy puppets and killer clowns menacing the streets. If you don’t master parry and other combat techniques, bosses will absolutely dismantle the player. But there’s a way to totally cheese them all. You just need to get your hands on throwables.
Throwables are common items in games like Dark Souls and Eldin Ring — items you can throw to deal damage. These come in the form of elemental grenades, thrown knives and other tools of the trade. While these items are often useful in these games, they’re usually not completely overpowered. Not true in Lies of P. If you want to absolutely crush even the toughest bosses, you’ll want to buy up an infinite supply of throwables. We’ll explain what items you need and where to get them in the full guide below.

Throwables (or Throwing Objects) are extremely powerful against bosses and powerful enemies. While Throwing Objects are limited early in the game, very early (by Chapter 5) you’ll gain access to infinite Throwing Objects. The Black Market Trader has infinite supplies — farm Ergo and you’ll be able to fill up for the rest of the game, or return later to fill your inventory.
While all the throwables are useful depending on the situation, the three most important weapons are the Shot Put, the Fire Canister and the Electric Blitz Cannister. With these three throwables fully stocked, you can blaze through almost any fight.
