I’ve been really excited about Fantasy Life ever since it was announced for Nintendo Switch. Fantasy Life on the Nintendo 3DS was one of my favourite games on that platform, and I played it a ton, potentially too much! The unfortunate news from the Nintendo Partner Showcase, however, was that we would need to wait until October to get our hands on the newest title in the series!
Fantasy Life scratches that unique itch between dungeon crawling, cozy gaming, and adventuring. Regardless of which character you choose to play as, there are tons of things to do and explore in the Fantasy Life world. Whether you play as the Paladin or as the baker, the gameplay loops are addicting and engaging, which makes them all great experiences!
Begin a fantastic life on a ruined island, and embark on a great adventure into the past! Gather friends, craft, and build your own city!
・A completely new entry in the Fantasy Life series!
・Build your own city and go on adventures on a new island!
・Explore the island with whatever Life (occupation) suits you!
・Travel between the past and present to unravel the mysteries of this ruined island!
・Popular characters from the series make a return!
Until then, I plan to hop into another Level-5 title, Snack World – The Dungeon Crawl Gold. This is a fantastic and older title on the Nintendo Switch that has tons of potential. Originally a Japanese release, this game was released in the West a few years ago and had a bit of a cult following. While not as popular as other Level-5 franchises like Yo-Kai Watch or Fantasy Life, it still holds up well and is a really fun game to play.
Are you excited for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time? Is it something you plan on picking up and playing?
