A new trailer for DC's League of Super-Pets has more Superman, story details, and Batman. DC's League of Super-Pets is the first animated feature starring the pets of heroes like Superman and Batman, including Krypto, voiced by Dwayne Johnson, and Ace the Bat-Hound, voiced by Kevin Hart. The film also stars the voice talent of Keanu Reeves as Batman, John Krasinski as Superman, Marc Maron as Lex Luthor, as well as Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Thomas Middleditch, and Ben Schwartz.
Directed by Jared Stern (The LEGO Ninjago Movie) and Sam Levine (Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero), DC's League of Super-Pets sees the canine characters of Krypto and Ace, as well as a diverse group of other pets, including PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle, and Chip the squirrel, dealing with new superpowers, while trying to save their equally super-powered owners. Trailers thus far have teased Krasinski's Superman and Reeves' Batman, which are taking a more humorous approach in the non-DCEU-related animated feature. Johnson and Hart are no strangers to teaming up in a comedic venture, having worked together previously on the Jumanji franchise, as well as 2016's Central Intelligence.
