Apple is gearing up to launch its latest iPhone 15 lineup later this year, While the standard models are speculated to feature a Dynamic Island display, the 'Pro' models will come with bigger variations. Apple will announce the iPhone 15 series potentially in September of this year alongside the new Apple Watch Series 9. However, it is never too early to begin speculating what the next iPhone might have in store for us. The latest CAD files of the iPhone 16 Pro Max shows the larger display and dimensions in contrast to this year's iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 Pro models were initially rumored to come with solid-state buttons and an Action Button which would replace the Mute Switch. It was later uncovered that Apple will reserve the solid-state solution for the iPhone 16 Pro models. However, the iPhone 15 Pro models are still expected to feature an Action Button. Other than this, this year's 'Pro' models are also expected to feature a titanium finish with USB-C and notable camera upgrades. As for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, it is being reported that the devices will feature a larger display, as shown in the latest CAD images.
The latest CAD images of the iPhone 16 Pro Max have been shared by Sonny Dickson to 9to5mac, showcasing how big the display might be compared to this year's iPhone 15 Pro Max. The larger iPhone 16 Pro Max would potentially be called the iPhone 16 Ultra, the same branding approach that Apple used with the Apple Watch Ultra. It was previously reported that the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with a 6.9-inch display. Check out the CAD image below for more details.
Due to the larger display size, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will grow taller from 159.8mm
