Black Desert Mobile gets the Land of the Morning Light expansion today, in an update that also adds Woosa Awakening (Choryeong). Expect events with the new content, new powerful gear, and more.
The sweeping expansion content is now available on the mobile version of Black Desert. Land Of The Morning Light is inspired by the Joseon period, the time of Korea's last dynastic kingdom. The inspiration from this era touches the new zone, the architecture, and more. The Pearl Abyss team even visited a number of real world locations, studied them, and used them to inspire in-game places, paths, and new content in the expansion.
Of course, while much of the content is historically inspired, the rest of it is inspired by Korean fables and folklore. These popular and well-known Korean stories are also the inspiration for the mythical bosses that you will encounter. Start with the main quest “Emma’s Nightmare" and go from there.
On mobile, this expansion content features four bosses, and the New Black Shrine mode. The four bosses you’ll get to confront are the Golden Pig King, Gumiho, the nine-tailed fox, Songakshi, the vengeful ghost, and Mudang Wraith, Bari. Challenge these bosses for the first time, and then in the Black Shrine mode, you'll be able to face them again at different difficulty levels for different rewards.
The Calamity level is your choice and you can take on the same boss a number of times with this strategic new mode. Take part in Black Shrine mode to walk away with Energy, which you can use to boost your character stats, giving you new strategic advantages and ways to play.
