Welcome back to another edition of Just Fun Tech, our as-needed review column focusing on tech that isn’t gaming related but is just plain fun, interesting, and can enhance the quality of our lives. This review is the second in a series of e-bikes to round out the Autumn season. Today, we’re looking at the Mokwheel Mesa Lite 2.0. It’s a great little commuter bike with a decent top sped, built-in suspension for moderate off-roading and the pitfalls and potholes of road riding, and your choice of throttle control, pedal assist, or both.
Nope – this isn’t PC tech. This is just fun tech and a column that’s just way too much fun to write.
Here at MMORPG, we often get requests to review products that fall outside of our scope. Beauty products, hair dryers, couches, thermal cameras… the works. Most of the time, these are just not a good fit, but every now and again, we get a request for something that looks genuinely fun and interesting. We believe that, though PC gaming and MMOs draw us together, we’re all interested in tech that’s special, unique, and just plain fun. Rather than let those opportunities pass, we decided to share them with you as part of this special series.
With many of these products, we don’t claim to be the expert authority. Instead, we approach them from the newcomer’s perspective with two core questions: Are they fun and do they bring joy that enhances your life? Just Fun Tech is about highlighting and exploring these products, and, well, helping your friendly neighborhood Hardware Editor have a hell of a good time in the process.
The Mokwheel Mesa Lite 2.0 is second in a recent series of two columnized reviews focusing on e-bikes helping you to get out and ride. There are some nice similarities and some big differences between these two models, so if the fat-tire get-up-and-go Puckipuppy Labrador seemed like a bit much for you, this is definitely worth considering.
