Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Squid Game Event Features a Premium Battle Pass
Activision has revealed details about the upcoming Squid Game collaboration event with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Detailed in a post on the game’s official blog, the Squid Game event will feature a new multiplayer game mode, along with a host of new additions, including new operator bundles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be getting the Red Light, Green Light, Pentathlon, and Squid Game Moshpit as new modes, while Zombies will see Dead Light, Green Light as the only new mode. Warzone players will also get their own Squid Game mode.
Operator bundles coming to the game include packs based on characters from Squid Game, including the Pink Guards, the VIPs, and Young-Hee. The event will also bring with it its own Event Pass, where players can play the game to unlock further rewards.
Like most other battle passes, the Squid Game Event Pass in Call of Duty will feature a free track, along with a premium track that includes more rewards, like an assault rifle blueprint dubbed High Authority, an SMG blueprint dubbed Boss Orders, and a new operator, Front Man.
The premium reward track will need to be purchased for players to be able to earn the fancier rewards, while the free track features mostly cosmetic rewards, including sprays, emblems, and operators like Player 115 and Player 006.
The Squid Game event is slated to go live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on January 3, and will be available until January 24.
