When viewers left the Abbott family last week, they were crumbling under the pressure of their shared lie. Perry Abbott (Tom Pelphrey) was unable to take the guilt over Trevor Tillerson's death, which was just as well because Deputy Sherriff Joy (Tamara Podemski) was ready to arrest him. Meanwhile, Patriarch Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin) left mysterious interloper Autumn (Imogen Poots) for dead after she was thrown off his bike, and she showed the magic of the mysterious time-traveling void to Billy Tillerson (Noah Reid).

In this exclusive Outer Range clip provided by Prime Video, the mood is equally somber and haunting. Sherriff Joy questions Perry through the bars of his jail scene. She wants to know about the disappearance of his wife, Rebecca, and whether he knows what happened to her. Though Perry responds that he does not know where she is what went down, he doesn’t believe she’s gone. Why? Because nothing ever is. Check out the full clip below:
