Screen Rant is honored to exclusively present a new clipfrom Prehistoric Planet, the five-part Apple TV+ docuseries premiering on May 23. From Jon Favreau and the producers of the highly-acclaimed Planet Earth franchise, the new Prehistoric Planet aims tohighlight dinosaurs not as predators to be feared — as often seen in popular entertainment such as the Jurassic Park films — but as creatures trying to survive just like any other.
Prehistoric Planet covers a variety of different environments found in the land before time, and each episode is centered around one of them. «Coasts» explores the waters that were home to the ocean's deadliest predators, while «Deserts» travels to North Africa to see animals thriving in the exact opposite of water. «Freshwater» finds fascination with the creatures surviving in the Asian wetland, and «Ice Worlds» takes viewers to the snow-covered forests and the dinosaurs who managed to keep warm there. Finally, «Forests» lands in an underground North American cave to finish off the journey of a lifetime.
