«We have a script, we're very close to getting our s**t together on that...»

A movie based on Sony's Ghost of Tsushima is in the works with John Wick's Chad Stahelski attached to direct. How's the movie coming along? Stahelski told ScreenRant that the film is making progress, with the script finished, but other pieces still need to come together.
«We have a script, we're very close to getting our s**t together on that, as well. Development is always tricky; it's studios, it's strikes, and availabilities, and scouting,» he said. «You have to will things into existence.»
Stahelski is attached to a number of upcoming projects, including the Ghosts of Tsushima movie, a Highlander film, and a Rainbow Six film. He said the two that are the «closest» and that he's most interested in right are the Highland and Ghost of Tsushima projects.
«Both amazing, amazing properties, the story of Ghost is, also, one of my favorite properties of all time,» he said.
Whether or not Stahelski makes Highlander or Ghosts of Tsushima first remains to be seen.
Among other things, Stahelski is working on how they can «push the color palette» on the Ghost of Tsushima movie. «How can you bring that world to life in a very realistic and grounded way?» he said.
Before this, Stahelski said the success of HBO's The Last of Us TV series demonstrates that a good video game adaptation «can be done.»
«You've just got to give it love and attention. And Ghost of Tsushima, of probably all the other video game [movies] in development, I think that's the one that’s going to land,» he said.
In Hollywood, a film being in development doesn't necessarily mean it will get made. Stahelski alluded to this in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, saying,
