Now streaming on Netflix, director Shawn Levy's The Adam Project is a heartfelt and entertaining throwback to 1980s high concept genre films like Back to the Future. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Adam Reed, a fighter pilot who time travels from the year 2050 in order to stop a horrible future from happening. On his mission, he enlists the aid of his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell). Jennifer Garner co-stars as Adam's mother, Ellie.
Screen Rant spoke with Garner and Scobell about their experience making the film, The Adam Project being something of a 13 Going on 30 spiritual sequel, and much more.

Walker Scobell: Yeah.
Jennifer, this movie was so special. What made this experience so special for you?
Jennifer Garner: I'm just so excited for people to watch this film because I can't imagine anyone who won't love
