Jared Leto Hasn't Watched One of His Own Movies in 22 Years
Jared Leto reveals that he hasn't watched one of his own movies in 22 years while promoting Morbius. Leto has appeared in TV and movies since the early 90s, but it wasn't until his role in Requiem for A Dream in 2000 that the actor became more widely known. Since starring in the raw Darren Aronofsky story of drug addiction, the actor would go on to appear in a variety of projects, ranging from contained thrillers like Panic Room to Oscar-winners like Dallas Buyers Club, to big-budget comic book fare like Suicide Squad. The actor was most recently seen in Ridley Scott's House of Gucci as Paolo Gucci.
Leto has now appeared as the Joker in two films and his take remains one of the more divisive versions of the iconic character. 2016's Suicide Squad was almost universally panned but the actor would reprise his role for a cameo at the end of Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021, which saw a more positive audience reaction. Leto is next slated to appear as the titular character in Morbius, which tells the story of a biochemist who accidentally becomes a vampire after attempting to cure himself of a rare blood disease. While the film has yet to be officially released, reactions to early screenings have been mostly negative.

In a new interview on UK's Radio X with host Chris Moyles as part of the actor's Morbius press circuit, Leto reveals that he hasn't watched one of his own movies in 22 years. Leto explains that the last time he watched one of his own movies was at Cannes in 2000 when Aronofsky made him sit through a screening of Requiem for A Dream.
