Jared Leto reveals that he would like to see Morbius take on all three Spider-Man actors. Just days away from its official release, Morbius is finally set to hit theatres after a number of delays that saw the film pushed back by almost two years. Morbius will tell the story of Dr. Michael Morbius who, while in search of a cure for his rare blood disease, turns himself into a living vampire, granting him a number of powerful super-human abilities. The film also welcomes back Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes, otherwise known as the Vulture, who many will be familiar with from Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Morbius is set within Sony's Spider-Man Universe, which also includes Tom Hardy's Venom, and the upcoming Kraven The Hunter film which stars Aaron Taylor Johnson as its titular character. The SSU, however, does not include the Spider-Man films themselves, due to the character's involvement within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland made his debut as the MCU's Spider-Man back in 2016, following in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who both previously played the role. Audiences were therefore delighted when rumors of their return in last year's Spider-Man: No Way Home came to fruition and the three Spider-Man actors appeared alongside one another in a monumental comic-book movie moment. Maguire and Garfield's returns ultimately opened the door to mass speculation as to what could be next for their Spider-Men, and now it seems Leto has his own plan for them.
