The iPhone 14 mini is coming? Till recently, the leaks and rumours around the iPhone 14 series launch had stated that the iPhone 14 mini had been killed off. Previous reports suggested that the disappointing iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini sales had forced Apple to drop the iPhone 14 mini and instead go for the launch of the giant 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max. Now, surprisingly, a new report has claimed quite to the contrary and said that there is no truth in that and iPhone 14 mini is not coming after all. In effect, the leak looks to have hammered the last nail in the iPhone 14 mini coffin. It said that the iPhone14 Max will be the one that will be launched.
The report via Evan Blass surprisingly had listed the 4 new iPhones that Apple is poised to launch during its September Fall Event, and unexpectedly, it had the name of iPhone 14 mini in it! It came as a shock to fans.
However, after raising everyone's hopes, he himself dashed them to the ground. Blass put an end to all the speculation and revealed the truth. Here's what he said about the iPhone 14 mini.
Blass revealed via 91Mobiles, “As several folks have pointed out, at least one of the devices on this list is off-base: instead of taking another crack at the mini form factor, a separate source confirmed that Apple is poised to offer a larger size, non-Pro handset; an iPhone 14 Max.” Then he added, “Therefore, other details here should likewise be viewed skeptically. Apologies for hopes raised, and then dashed.”
So, it is back to square one for Apple fans. Apple is now expected to launch these four new devices - the standard iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, the new entrant iPhone 14 Max and the high-end iPhone 14 Pro Max.
