The Apple “Far Out” Event is finally upon us. Apple will announce its next flagship, the iPhone 14 series alongside the Apple Watch 8 and a host of other products. It is also rumoured that the tech giant will also release the much-awaited iOS 16 update for the public along with the iPhone 14. iOS 16 was announced at the WWDC 2022 in June this year. Although it was made available to test via the iOS 16 Beta program, that was only for a handful of users, mostly tech oriented experts, who wanted to try out the new features before anyone else. Thereafter, Apple also released the iOS 16 public beta to a wider audience. Now, it is being released globally.
iOS 16 includes a host of new features that are sure to improve your experience. Apple has introduced big changes to the iPhone lock screen. Users will now be able to edit and create custom lock screens as well as add widgets to lock screens.
The Messages app has also received a substantial upgrade. You can now unsend messages and even have the option to edit already sent messages. Messages has also received the SharePlay feature to allow users to view content and text together simultaneously. Other iOS apps such as Dictation, LiveText and Maps have also received major upgrades on iOS 16.
