Apple's newest A16 Bionic chipset has reportedly shown a huge boost in performance. The iPhone 14 Pro models get the A16 Bionic chipset whereas non-Pro models have retained an year-old A15 chipset. Though these handsets are yet to go on sale, an early Geekbench result has showed the performance of the new Apple A16 chipset. As shared by the AnTuTu team, the iPhone 14 Pro has shown a total score of 978,147, the Pro Max managed 972,936 which is around 19% better than last year's iPhone 13 Pro models. The new chipset has shown 17% better CPU performance, while the memory score is up by 10% but what's really impressive is the GPU performance with upto a 28% jump over the previous generation.
Early AnTuTu results for the iPhone 13 Pros last year showed a 17% increase in CPU score and 19% in the GPU over its predecessor iPhone 12 Pro generation. Last year, the memory score wowed everyone with a 44% jump.
Apart from this, the iPhone 14 pro handsets have arrived with several upgraded features like Crash Detection, Dynamic Island, always on display, and major camera upgrade. That's not all the iPhone 14 line up has also arrived with an "all-day" battery life. Among all the models, the iPhone 14 Plus got the best battery life that was previously available in the iPhone Pro Max models only.
As shared by Apple, the iPhone 14 will offer up to 20 hours of video playback, up to 16 hours of streamed video playback and up to 80 hours of audio playback in compared to the iPhone 13 includes up to 19 hours of video playback, up to 15 hours of streamed video playback and up to 75 hours of audio playback.
