With the iPhone 14 launch, which is just three days away, you may see several old iPhones, that have been favourites of many, being killed off. Before you start worrying, let us tell you that Apple hasn't announced anything in regards to the discontinuation of previous iPhone models. However, several reports have suggested that Apple may ditch the older iPhones, especially iPhone 11 after the iPhone 14 launch. Significantly, since the start of Pro and Pro Max models back in 2019, Apple never kept any of its Pro versions for more than a year. Also, the new iPhone 14 is expected to get the same iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max's chipset.
Apple is said to avoid the iPhone 14 mini in favour of the new large iPhone 14 Max or Plus, as the mini version in the past failed to deliver the expected sales. While keeping this in mind, Apple may discontinue the iPhone 12 mini too.
