The very first Disney and Marvel Games Showcase has just wrapped up, and there was a surprising amount of announcements, including Skydance's Marvel game. While the extremely fast 25-minute showcase didn't have too many big reveals, there was plenty for Disney and Marvel fans to get excited about. However, one clear standout from the event was Skydance's project, which was revealed for the very first time today.
Though its setting and premise were leaked earlier this morning, it's now been officially confirmed that Skydance's Marvel game will revolve around Black Panther and Captain America as they fight against Hydra during World War Two, something that fans likely didn't guess when Skydance said it was developing an ensemble Marvel game. After revealing a scratched-up Captain America shield, the trailer ends on an image of four character silhouettes, with a tagline underneath that reads «Four Heroes, Two Worlds, One War,» and there are a few things that could mean.

The first part of the tagline, «Four Heroes,» clearly refers to the four characters showcased at the end of the trailer. According to the game's official description, these four include a younger Steve Rogers, presumably not long after he's first taken the super soldier serum, and Black Panther, though this isn't the version MCU fans will be accustomed to. Rather than T'Challa, or even his father T'Chaka, Skydance's version of Black Panther will be Azzuri, T'Chaka's father.
