Marvel's Avengers has added a new set of outfits for Thor and Hulk in the game. The outfits are based on the characters' gladiatorial outfits from the 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok where the two briefly battled. It is the latest set of new outfits for the heroes in Marvel's Avengers.
In September 2020, Square Enix released Crystal Dynamics' Marvel's Avengers which wassadly something of a disaster for the publisher. Reviews for the game were mixed with the game getting a 67 Metacritic score for the PlayStation 4, a 66 for the Xbox One, and a 68 for the PC. The game was also said to have initially lost the company $63 million. Between Marvel's Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel properties may have lost Square Enix as much as $200 million. Despite these reported losses, the company is still continuing to support the game.

Right at launch, the game was providing players with new skins for the iconic comic book characters. More recently, Marvel's Avengers added Steve Rogers' Captain America: The Winter Soldier outfit but is now adding another set of outfits from one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's other sequels. The game is allowing players to obtain Thor's and Hulk's gladiatorial outfits fromThor: Ragnarok. Sadly there don't appear to be any perks with the outfits or story content related outside the look. The outfits are now available on digital marketplaces.
