One of the most famous cosplayers in Japan, Enako, will bring to life the characters created by beloved author Rumiko Takahashi, famous for Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha, in a new book set to be released on September 6. A first look shared through Enako's Twitter account gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from this exciting collaboration.
Enako is a star of the Japanese cosplay community and the most successful professional cosplayer in the country. She is also a voice actor, streamer, and model, regularly hired by publishers and producing companies to advertise manga, anime, and video games. Rumiko Takahashi is a legendary mangaka who has created iconic works such as the revolutionary Ranma 1/2, the supernatural shonen Inuyasha, and the sci-fi romantic comedy Urusei Yatsura. Recently, Takahashi was inducted into the prestigious Harvey Awards Hall of Fame in recognition of her career's work. She joins other masters of the craft such as Steve Ditko and Moebius. Takahashi was previously also inducted into the Eisner Hall of Fame, and received the prestigious Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon award by the Japanese government.

This cooperation between one of the greatest mangaka in the world and Japan's most successful cosplayer promises to be a real treat for fans of Takahashi's work. Enako will bring to life characters from all of Takahashi's beloved manga, and the artist even drew a completely new one who will debut in the book, designed specifically for the cosplayer to portray.
