Broken Ranks and Palia are getting ready for Halloween, Once Human had a livestream and apologizes for lag issues, and Dreamworld has embraced AI as they begin inviting new players to their current test. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.
With Forefathers’ Eve just around the corner, Broken Ranks posted a summarization of its summer events. The post also announced that Forefathers’ Eve would run October 31st through November 4th.
Dreamworld has started inviting players into its latest test. You can request access on the Dreamworld Steam page. Dreamworld has also embraced AI by introducing a Text-to-3D Model Generation.
Ember’s Adrif’s second anniversary event kicked off this week on October 11th. Depending on when you are reading this, you may still have a chance to join in on the festivities today, Sunday, October 13th.
Farwoods had a patch on Monday that had a lot of bugfixes.

If you missed it, you can watch the October 10th devstream below. The dev team also addressed the lag issue many players have been experiencing. A first round of server performance optimizations was implemented on Thursday, with another round planned for October 17th. As compensation for the issue, players will receive 1000 Starchrom, 150 Mitsuko’s Marks, 30 Gunpowder, and 1 Canned Seafood in Oil.
The Harvest Festival will return to OrbusVR on October 29th.
