Incandescent Essence - New Reuseable Helm Enchant from Amirdrassil, The Dream's Hope
wowhead.comPlayers can earn a new reuseable Helm Enchantment that changes based off your specialization from a quest chain in Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope. This new enchantment, the Incandescent Essence, is a reward for collecting several quest items off key bosses in the raid, as well as grinding Echoed Ephemera for several weeks off the raid's bosses.

Players can begin this quest line by looting Twisted Dreaming Essence from their first boss kill in the raid. This item begins the quest Essence of a Broken Dream, which can be turned in to Merithra within the raid. Players will then embark on the multi-week quest The Power of Dreams, requiring them to kill Igira the Cruel, Larodar, Keeper of the Flame, Smolderon, and Tindral Sageswift as well as gathering 50 Echoed Ephemera.
Blizzard has stated that it will take until the second month of raiding to unlock this powerful enchantment:
Players will begin a questline to acquire this reusable helm enchantment shortly after entering the raid and can expect to acquire it in their second month of raiding. This powerful item grants players a different effect based on their current role and is not consumed on use. These effects will be disabled in PvP.
Once players have obtained the Incandescent Essence, there are several different versions of the enchantment depending on the specialization you are currently in:
Tanks
Healers
Ranged DPS
Melee DPS
While the weekly progression on The Power of Dreams is currently capped, Blizzard has stated that there will be a catch-up acceleration to eventually help players who are behind earn their enchantment faster.
