The new Immortal X-Men series on the horizon from Marvel Comics will introduce a bevy of story elements meant to expand the ever-growing lore of the mutants, including some unforgettable new costume options that fans will love. The first issue is set to release on March 30, 2022.
Immortal X-Men will feature artwork from Lucas Werneck and a story written by Kieron Gillen. The story at the center of it all will focus on The Quiet Council of Krakoa, comprised of the likes of Professor X, Emma Frost, Mister Sinister, Mystique, Colossus, and Storm, just to name a few familiar faces. The series will beg to answer questions concerning Krakoa's governing body and how it will either succeed or fail in upholding its own politics for their newly established mutant nation.

Writer Kieron Gillen expands more on his plans and expectations for Immortal X-Men during an interview with Comic Book Resources. In addition to Gillen's own words, CBR offers preview images for what Immortal X-Men #1 will look like come March 30. These images feature Quiet Council members Mister Sinister, Storm, Colossus, and Nightcrawler dealing with a new threat, while Mystique and Destiny embrace each other.
Speaking of Destiny and Mystique, their preview images seem set to serve asImmortal X-Men #1's opening scene where Gillen is excited to point out Mystique's costume and hat ensemble, which he predicts will quickly become a fan favorite upon its premiere unveiling.
