A new trailer has been released for the upcoming first-person adventure game I Am Jesus Christ showcasing turning water into wine and attending the Last Supper. Development of the I Am Jesus Christ PC game has stirred up some controversy over the past several years due to its subject matter. Yet developer SimulaM has remained steadfast in its devotion to the project, and the new trailer for I Am Jesus now captures what true Christ gameplay will actually look like.
I Am Jesus Christ first caused a commotion in early 2019 when a cinematic trailer showed players performing miracles with glowing hands, expending a limited holy resource. That trailer ended with a first-person perspective of Christ on the crucifix, followed by his miracle resource bar being refilled upon resurrection. Many questioned whether I Am Jesus Christ was being made with respect to the source material of the New Testament, or if it was a mocking joke.

It seems that I Am Jesus Christ is very much a reality, though. The latest trailer for the religious simulator, showcased as part of the IGN Fan Fest 2023 event, shows what I Am Jesus Christ looks like in motion. Players tour the town of Nazareth with quest markers lining the edge of the screen. «The Awakening of Jesus» mission tasks the player with asking for the whereabouts of John the Baptist.
Most of the gameplay sequences shown in the trailer are focused on various miracles. First, it shows Christ activating his Walk On Water miracle, but that's just one of his powers.
