Mojang has partnered with NASA for its latest DLC in Minecraft Education. In the Artemis Mission DLC, you'll be able to build a spaceship capable of taking you to the moon.
The Artemis Mission DLC will encourage you to mix and match blocks to see what works and what doesn't for the spaceship. Throughout your build, you can view your ship at a hub that lets you know if it's ready to fly to space. There'll also be real-world problems that you'll encounter similar to what NASA faced, such as basic coding that you'll need to solve in the form of a mini-game to help get your ship into the final frontier.
Minecraft Education is a learning platform set in Minecraft. It's meant to help students build skills such as communication, problem-solving, and more. It's also worth noting that Minecraft Education isn't limited to just students. You can download it by visiting the Minecraft website or in the Marketplace, but only for the Bedrock version.
What's notable about the NASA Artemis mission is that they'll be responsible for landing the first woman and person of color on the moon. In addition, astronauts are expected to explore more of the moon's surface than ever before, and they'll also be working on establishing the first long-term human-robotic presence on the moon to help them one day reach Mars.
