Talented comic artist Christian Ward has unveiled a gorgeous piece of What If...? art on Twitter, revealing that he has a «killer» story pitch involving Doctor Strange and Hulk that he would love to create one day. Ward, the artist of the recent critically acclaimed Aquaman: Andromeda from DC Black Label has a truly gorgeous and unique art style that would fit in perfectly with a What If...? style Marvel Comics story.

Both Stephen Strange and Bruce Banner are doctors, and while Christian Ward did not reveal any part of his What If...? pitch, putting these two characters together would clearly lead to some fascinating stories exploring the diversity of the Marvel Universe. Christian Ward's unique artistic style, mixing stunning bright watercolor effects with bold line work, has led to him receiving multiple Eisner Awards, and in 2019 he released his first comic as a writer, Machine Gun Wizards. Currently, Ward is illustrating the acclaimed Aquaman: Andromeda — written by Ram V — from DC's more-adult Black Label publisher, giving Arthur Curry a beautiful yet terrifying new costume and a dark spin on the classic Aquaman character.
