How To Visit Davy Jones' Locker In Fortnite
One of the last Pirates of the Caribbean quests that you'll need to finish in is visiting Davy Jones' Locker, but the game doesn't give away many clues on how to do this. While most location-based challenges are marked on the map, this one doesn't tell you where to go, leaving many players confused about how to complete it.
's massive Pirates of the Caribbean crossover, nicknamed Cursed Sails, is drawing to a close after weeks of themed challenges, pirate weapons, and appearances from Captain Barbossa, Elizabeth Swann, and other iconic characters. Before that happens, though, there's one final set of challenges to complete, including paying a visit to Davy Jones' Locker.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is on the way, and it will bring the usual updates including new weapons, map changes, and a fresh Battle Pass.
To complete this challenge, you simply need to be eliminated in a Battle Royale match. If you've watched the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, you'll likely know that Davy Jones' Locker is a metaphor for death, more specifically for sailors who meet their maker at sea. That doesn't mean you need to die in water, though. Any elimination in any location will count towards the quest.
You don't need to talk to Davy Jones to complete this challenge, but if you'd like to pay a visit to the Captain of the Flying Dutchman, he can be found near the edge of the map west of The Underworld. He sells the Treasure Map and can also give you the Black Mark which is required for another Cursed Sailes quest.
The chances of being eliminated in a Battle Royale match are pretty high — there's only one winning player or team, after all — so a lot of people will complete this quest without even trying. However, if you want to complete the quest as quickly as possible, you can eliminate yourself by jumping off a tall building and taking fall damage. If you do this while playing solo, it will result in an instant elimination, completing the quest straight away.
