Amazon Prime subscribers who previously canceled their memberships can return for one week of Amazon Prime for just $2. Not only does that give you seven days of free Prime shipping on all eligible purchases and access to other perks like Prime Video and Prime Gaming, but the timing of this deal also means you can enjoy all the Prime Day 2023 sales as an Amazon Prime Member.
This year, Prime Day is on July 11 and 12, which would cover the final two days of your promotional week if you take advantage of the special offer today.
Normally, Amazon Prime costs $15/month, which works out to around $3.75 per week, which makes this discounted one-week promo a great deal for lapsed subscribers.
The weeklong subscription offer for returning members isn't the only way you can join Amazon Prime on the cheap ahead of Prime Day.
New users can sign up for a free Amazon Prime 30-day trial and enjoy the full suite of perks and special offers this month. Similarly, anyone receiving government assistance such as SNAP or Medicaid can apply for a reduced Amazon Prime subscription cost of just $7/month.
More early Prime Day deals
Note that if you take advantage of the weeklong subscription for returning members or the 30-day free trial for new users, your account will automatically roll over to the $15/month price after your promotional period is over unless you cancel ahead of time.
While Prime Day isn't until next week, those that use one of the Amazon Prime membership promotions can take advantage of several early Prime Day deals that are already available, including a free month of Kindle or Audible Unlimited, a free $15 gift card, plus a host of discounted games and gaming gear like headsets and controllers.
