The latest entry in the series features gargantuan abominations that make Deathclaws look like child’s play. The West Virginian wasteland provides the perfect backdrop for creatures based on local folklore and new creatures alike.
The Sheepsquatch seems to have stayed unchanged during the new transition to the Steel Reign update. As the name suggests, Sheepsquatch is a large, irradiated monster that look like a cross between a sheep and a sasquatch. These ten-foot-tall behemoths are very tough, and almost always must be attacked by a group of players. Although Sheepsquatch poses an extreme threat to all players, they can be defeated with the right tactics.

Generally, a Sheepsquatch will spawn one at a time at certain locations and during specific events. However, at the Sheepsquatch boss fight during the Free Range event, up to two Sheepsquatch may spawn.
Conveniently, the Sheepsquatch have set locations in Appalachia where they can be found regularly. Although there is not a 100% chance of finding the monsters at any of these locations, players should be able to find one by exploring Sheepsquatch hotspots on the map.
Sheepsquatch can also be encountered as part of some events in. Boss fights during the events “Free Range,” “Primal Cuts,” and “Project Paradise” all feature Sheepsquatch battles. The Sheepsquatch have an extremely high level of HP, even more so than higher-level creatures like Scorchbeasts.
