It's finally possible to create folders on the Nintendo Switch. While the console-handheld hybrid has been around for well over five years, it barely receives any updates for its software. To this date, there are still only two themes to choose from out of the options available, with no method to purchase or unlock more. Although, recently, Nintendo has begun to release small quality-of-life updates for their platform, including the ability to use Bluetooth, share screenshots to mobile devices, and now create folders. With the ability to make folders, players can now organize their games in any format they would like.
The Nintendo Switch has been a juggernaut for a wide variety of different gaming titles. From big-budget first-party titles like Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart to smaller indie games like Shovel Knight and Gris, there are tons of different options to choose from. However, it can get annoying to scroll all the way to the game you wish to play, especially if it's not in that first bar on the main menu. With folders, players can group together similar games for better organization. To get started, players will need to update their Nintendo Switch to version 14.0.0 since this is the patch to introduce folders.

After installing the newest Nintendo Switch firmware update, scroll to the right to the 'All Software' tab. Next, press the 'L' button to bring up the 'Group' menu. Now, players will be able to pick and choose which games they would like to add to this group. It's possible to add up to 200 pieces of software into a single group.
