A Nintendo fan and Etsy seller is creating unbelievably detailed Nintendo cartridges and case replicas and selling them in their online shop. Nintendo fans are typically devoted to the developer's various franchises, many of which date back to the very beginning of the company. Products dedicated to providing nostalgia for Nintendo fans are usually very popular, especially when they are unique and handcrafted.

2022 will be a busy year for Nintendo as seen by the latest Nintendo Direct. The year began with the release of the breath of fresh air that is Pokemon Legends: Arceus. That paired with the recent release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land has already set the precedence for a successful year for the developer. Both recently released titles are continuations of long-running franchises with a mixture of classic fan-favorite characters and storylines and brand new gameplay. The recent additions have pleased older and newer Nintendo players alike and only a quarter of the year has passed.

While esteemed Nintendo titles are released consistently, some fans are aching for the recognition of older Nintendo games. Since older Nintendo eShop closures have damaged game preservation and user trust according to some, this isn't surprising. Etsy seller Pigminted is contributing to the preservation of games (or at least the memories attached to them) by skillfully carving replicas of classic Nintendo cartridges and cases such as the Gamecube's The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker.
